K.C International organized an Inter House Quiz Competition

“If there is one place on the face of earth where all the dreams of living men have found home from the very earliest days when man began the dream if existence, It is India.” - Romain Rollan

As India is celebrating its 73rd Independence Day with great pride and Joy. The education system takes the responsibility with dexterity to infuse this culture of India among students.

For the same K.C International took a magnanimous Initiative to organize an Inter House Quiz Competition on the history of India’s Independence for its Primary Wing on 16 and 17 of August’19 to instill the values and patriotism among the students. The theme of the quiz was TODDLERS’ INDIA for classes I & II and MASTANI BHARAT for classes III, IV & V. It reminded the students the great sacrifices made by the soldiers, National Leaders and legendries.

The art, cultural heritage and history of the nation is portrayed in many ways like Literature, tales, dance, role plays, etc. And here at the campus, students of Primary wing showed a meticulous performance with zealous efforts through the quiz. The teams were named after freedom fighters –KHUDIRAM, BHAGAT SINGH, KHAN ROHILLA, MANGAL PANDEY, TIKENDRAJIT, SAROJINI NAIDU, MATANGNI HAZIRA, BIKAJICAMA, LAXMI SEHGAL AND SUCHETA KRIPLANI. Each team had four participants and made the quiz very interesting. It was organized in a manner to make them familiar with these great names of freedom fighters and to remind their sacrifices.

The quiz was organized properly and had four rounds- the Buzzer round, Pass on, Audio-Visual round and Complete the slogans. The judges were taken aback to see the awareness and knowledge of the students about their country. It was a wonderful opportunity for all of us to revive the feeling of great legacy of Indian culture.
In the end Mr. Shobendhu Sarkar, the Principal of K.C International School addressed the students with announcement of results and boosted the morale of the students to serve their nation to their best of potential. He shares his vision and emphasized on the communal harmony and oneness among the citizens. Nationality should be the religion of the country to lift up the various sections of the country and to restore the resources to its best. Then he culminated the program with the National Anthem and the slogan Jai Hind.
