The Indian film and television industry mourns the demise of Shefali Jariwala, who tragically passed away at the age of 42 following a sudden cardiac arrest in Mumbai during the night of 27 June 2025.
The Bollywood actress, best known for her iconic appearance in the music video Kaanta Laga and her participation in Bigg Boss 13, was regarded as one of the promising talents in the industry.
According to reports, Ms Jariwala suffered a cardiac arrest at her residence late on Friday evening and was rushed to hospital by her husband. However, despite their best efforts, she could not be saved.
Ms Shefali's sudden demise has sent shockwaves across the industry and is widely regarded as a profound loss to the creative world.
