The Vice President of India, Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan, addressed the inaugural session of the 30th Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Partnership Summit 2025 in Visakhapatnam city of the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh today.
Shri Radhakrishnan lauded India’s rise as the world’s fourth-largest economy under the leadership of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, praising the prime minister's significant role in lifting crores of people out of poverty through sustained economic activity and inclusive growth.
The vice president said, “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India has risen to become the world’s fourth-largest economy,” and that the prime minister is “lifting crores of people out of poverty.”
