The Vice President of India, Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan, attended the diamond jubilee celebrations of Fatima Mata National College in Kollam city of the southern Indian state of Kerala today.
Shri Radhakrishnan noted the distinguished contribution to education and nation-building since its founding by Rev. Dr. Jerome M. Fernandez.
The event was attended by several notable dignitaries including the Governor of Kerala Shri Rajendra Viswanath Arlekar, Union Minister Shri Suresh Gopi, State Finance Minister Shri K. N. Balagopal, Rev. Dr. Paul Antony Mullassery, Roman Catholic Bishop of Kollam, along with dignitaries, faculty, and students.
