The Vice President of India, Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan, addressed the 66th Course of the National Defence College in New Delhi today. He emphasized that national strategy must translate national purpose into action and national intent into tangible outcomes.

Speaking on the occasion, the vice president said, “India aims to become the most powerful nation in the world not to dominate others or dictate terms to others but to ensure that no country dictates terms to us.”

“Strategic leadership ultimately means placing the larger national interest above the boundaries of one's own domain,” he added.
