The President of the Republic of Lithuania, Gitanas Nausėda, has condemned the Russia’s aggressive and revisionist policy amid the increasing tensions between Russia and Ukraine.
The Lithuanian president stated, "Time is not on our side. Russia’s aggressive and revisionist policy will not stop on its own."

Today, I opened the annual Berlin Security Conference #BSC2026. My message is clear: European security begins in Ukraine. We must increase support for Ukraine, strengthen Allied defencecapabilities, expand the defence industry and increase pressure on Russia. Time is not on our side.
