The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Shri Manoj Sinha held a meeting with political leaders at Raj Bhawan in Srinagar to discuss preparations for Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra which begins from 3 July. The Chief Minister Shri Omar Abdullah was also present to grace the occasion.

In a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the lieutenant governor wrote, "The leaders of all political parties are members of J&K family and I believe pilgrimage to Shri Amarnath Ji is the socio-cultural responsibility of this family. We must walk shoulder to shoulder with a resolve to welcome all devotees & make Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra a huge success."

The meeting was attended by several dignitaries including, NC Leader Shri Omar Abdullah, PDP Leader Ms Iltija Mufti, BJP Leader Shri Kavinder Gupta, JKAP Leader Shri Altaf Bukhari, along with the other leaders from various political parties.
