The faculty and students of the Government Degree College Khaltse today celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patrotic fevour in the college campus.
The celebration commenced with Principal Dr Sameena Iqbal, hoisting the national flag followed by singing of the national anthem. In her address to the gathering, Dr Sameena Iqbal extended greetings to the faculty members, students and staff on this auspicious occasion. She emphasized the importance of upholding the values of freedom, unity and responsibility. She also encouraged students to contribute positively to the society and strive to excellence in their respective fields.
