Renowned actress Nimrat Kaur today shared a poignant tribute to her late father, Lieutenant Colonel Bhupender Singh, who tragically lost his life in a terrorist attack in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
Ms Kaur's heartfelt remembrance, shared via social media, marks the occasion of her father's birth anniversary and honours the indelible legacy of his selfless service to the nation.
Ms Kaur, accompanied by her mother, recently visited two significant memorials dedicated to her father, one at Beacon in Srinagar Cantonment, and another at the Titanic View Point on National Highway 44 near Banihal, both of which commemorate the final days of Lt. Col. Bhupender Singh’s distinguished service.
In a heartfelt message posted on social media platform Instagram, Ms Kaur said,
“Papa’s sacrifice left behind a lifelong legacy of goodwill for our family. A slogan he lived and died by comes to mind — Agrani Ajay, a true Bengal Sapper’s war cry. Happy birthday, Papa…♥️”
