The Minister for Youth Services and Sports, Shri Satish Sharma, and the President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, Shri Mithun Manhas, held talks on promotion and development of cricket infrastructure and associated activities across the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
The minister reaffirmed the government’s resolve to make Jammu and Kashmir a hub of sporting excellence, through collaborative efforts between Jammu and Kashmir administration and Indian sporting bodies.
Mithun Manhas appreciated the initiatives undertaken by the Jammu and Kashmir Government and assured full cooperation from BCCI in developing cricket at all levels in Jammu and Kashmir.
